I went for my morning walk after listening to this, and was looking everywhere for small movements, but found none. As I came back in to the house and gathered up the week’s laundry, I picked up my partner’s shirt and held it to my face. I could see small hairs from her haircut yesterday, and a faint scent of her favorite perfume, filling me with a warm connected feeling. It suddenly became clear to me that I only notice the small moments and movements when I stop trying to search them out and let my heart do the looking.
<3<3<3! I haven't seen many hawks lately (this was recorded almost 2 years ago), but I did see that a mating pair of peregrine Falcons was spotted at a state park recently. Birds have so much to teach us! :-)
