This Spring has been a time of transformation for me. Usually this is a great time of year for growth and expansion, and this year has certainly been no exception. I have new projects, new connections, new ideas, and a sense of new life in my life. There are a lot of difficult things going on too, behind the scenes, but overall the energy is of growth and new life.

First and foremost, The Thirsty Mystic was born March 31st, 2023. This is the brainchild of myself and my friend Cynthia. We’re making teas, wax melts, soaps, anything that tickles our fancy, really. And we’re hoping to have enough stock and promotional materials to get a booth at Athens Pagan Pride Day this year. So far we have 4 successful tea blends, and we hope to start actual production soon! Find us here on Instagram, and here on Facebook for updates.

Second, the job that I started on January 31st is going really well. I love my coworkers, love the culture of the company I work for, and the money has been nice. I feel like I still have a lot of learning and growing to do, and I feel like I have the support to do that, so that’s been huge. It’s been really difficult fighting my fibro through the stress, and especially fighting traffic and changing my sleep schedule, but the rewards have been worth the efforts.

Third, Husbear and I decided to open up to polyamory again. Actually, he decided, and I opened up my profile on OKCupid in a show of solidarity. The results have been fruitful for me, but it’s been a little slower-going for him. It’s always more difficult for men to meet people for some reason. At any rate, I’m enjoying this particular expansion in my life. We’ll see what the future holds!
